Commercial law firm JLF has opened a new office in London.
Founded in 2020 by corporate law expert Jabad Jaigirdar, the law firm works with clients nationally on all their corporate advisory and transaction needs, including mergers and acquisitions.
After consecutive years of growth since its inception, JLF has agreed to move into Cubo’s office space at Ilona Rose House, an 80,000 sq. ft office space with 10,000 sq. ft of landscaped terraces in the heart of Soho.
The new office will be run by founder, Mr. Jaigirdar, who is relocating to the UK capital to underscore JLF’s business ambitions in the region.
The move follows the 2024 relocation of JLF’s Newcastle headquarters to Bank House, the first new office building in the £100m redevelopment of the Pilgrim Street area of the city.
The firm has in the current financial year also invested a six-figure sum in early stage talent, by recruiting five law graduates, all on the path to qualification as solicitors.
Mr. Jaigirdar said: “After moving our headquarters to state-of-the-art offices in Newcastle, with an increasing amount of London-based clients using JLF, establishing a presence in the capital was the next logical step in our growth journey.
“JLF works with a lot of tech companies and their founders, mid-market private equity funds and family offices in London, and so we’re excited to have a permanent presence there.”
Marc Brough, CEO at Cubo, added: “We are thrilled that JLF are continuing their growth at Cubo Soho London in addition to the headquarters at Cubo Newcastle Bank House. The firm’s impressive track record and commitment to growth align with the values we uphold at Cubo.”
